This passed week was the Losi Nationals Race at our local track Minnregg here in Clearwater, FL. It was a 5 day event. After eachs days racing was over one of the Losi Drivers would bring out the LST and run it for like 15 minutes or so. My Honest opinion, for its size, its got power, but not as fast as It should be. It looked like a pig. It handles well however, or looked like it did. But then again it was a Pro-Driver driving it...But the thing looked nice...Not too impressed, Kinda slow for a .26 motor...but overall it looks like it is going to be a decent truck if the pricing is right.

Yea its a nice truck...but nothing too impressive about it..IMO...Thing needs a diet or a better motor!

Do you mean that it was slow compared to the buggies? ...or slow compared to other monster trucks?

Did you get a look at what other engine might fit into that thing and be a worthy upgrade?

Naw i didnt get a chance to see how upgradeable the motor is. I mean don't get me wrong..the LST is nice...but for some reason it just seemed really slow. It was doing the doubles and triples that usually only buggies and unlimited trucks could do, but in the hands of a pro driver. It looked like it was lacking something, couldnt quite put my finger on it. But we'll see when they come out and more and more people start bringing them to the track.

well if a mach 26 is slow....there is almost nothing better....a sirio maybe and the new rb or a ported pico...but for power the mach is one of the best..i run a xtm 24/7 pro and its quick, faster then a wasp...so the lst may not get power down too well or the driver wasn't going wild with the trigger...

Again he could have been running it rich, it sounded quite fat for the first few laps but then sounded niceer. But still....I will definitely wait until I can drive one to make my decision on it. There are too many new trucks coming out in the next few months to just get all hung up on one.

LST...Mmmm look like a good backyard basher to me. but i wont race a 13 pounds MT. it well made of course but it seem to be a truck more made for a project. if i buy one , ill turn it into a 4 weel steering monster or something like that. interesting that low-hi 2 speed thing, is this 7 inch tire?? sad they don't fit savage

Why would i be disappointed? Because of the stock motor? Nah, im still buying it. Actually, i already bought it. Just waiting for that phone call from my LHS. I'll have my Fantom .27 next week, if that motor is really fast, i'll just put one on the LST.

Im in Livonia. I sometimes go to Dirtburner racing in Commerce Twnshp. There is a new track going up on eureka road in Taylor. Its being setup by the owner of some paintball shop. Keep an eye on the forums man, when i get the LST, i'll hook up with ya sometime. Im sure that new track will be open then. There are other tracks in michigan, i just dont go to em.

Haggerty rd, just south of Pontiac trail, west side. Take the new M5 north, til it ends, turn right, make a left on Haggerty, and its gonna be on your left, before Pontiac trail. Im not sure what the schedule is now, i believe the racing season is over. Im fairly certain they do an open practice all summer. Meaning run whatever, whenever. Its 10 dollars an hr, or 10 dollars for the day. Plus a dollar for some other reason. You'll get that dollar back at the end when you return the frequency clip. There is also a new track opening up in Taylor Michigan, on Eureka Rd. Its done by a guy that owns a paintball shop, and it will be ROAR approved. I hear its pretty big. I know i'll be trying that track with my savages as soon as they get it done.
