Default need more speed

My friend has a Duratrax nitroquake and I have a gs storm. When riding around he has trouble keeping up with me. Does anyone know of anything we can do to his nitroquake to help him keep up? Besides spending lots of $ on a new engine. Any and all will be helpful.

get a motor saver air filter. get a tuned pipe. lighten up the car some with carbon fiber. gear it for more speed.

tie a rock to the back of your truck, a big rock. he will keep up then.

edit: bigger tires can add more speed also. but not to big!

I liked that...I shared the first bit of info with him, but I will keep that one between us.

oh, i think it is only fair to let him know so that may happen. or you may find your fuel line cut or your carb not opening all the way. he could also make it so your brakes drag and are working against the engine.
