Default REVO... RCUniverse coverage

Have you guys seen RC Universe's coverage on the Revo? The 15 minute demonstration at the Traxxas booth? I have to admit, that thing is AMAZING! Even more then I originally thought. No wonder why it's RCCA's truck of the year... Seriously.

C'mon guys, you know I like my Maxx, but I have also owned HPI, Kyosho, Tamiya, XTM and more. I am not PRO Traxxas, but man oh man.

Here is what I took away from it that I previously overlooked-

90mm suspension travel w/ included optional pivot castors for 120mm suspension travel
HD Chassis Integrated motor mount
Ability to change spur gear without messing w/ slipper
Semi metallic slipper pads & metal slipper ... No more melted spur gears
Semi metallic brake pad w/ vented and drilled brake
Higher Output 2.5R (will probably push 1.5 hp) w/CNC head
2 chamber low profile pipe
1 screw adjustment for setting motor-trans mesh properly
Amazing servo saver w/ extra springs included for setting servo saver
Adjustable ride height INDEPENDENT of spring preload
Threaded shocks for tuning preload
Integrated throttle return spring

Now, this is on top of what we already know. Sure, it may not be the 'first' to use some of these features, but I can darn well tell you, it is the first to use them all together.

I will remove the reverse, opti-whatever, EZ start, and the 2nd steering servo when I get it.

My mind is made up. It is revolutionary... honestly. You can't read ALL of the features above and disagree that this truck has a lot of innovation and thought into it.

With probably an IMMEDIATE response from the aftermarket for this truck, it is going to be awesome, no question.

1.5 hp for a monster truck is not enough, they should of put a .21 in there at least.

It has nothing to do with hp wen it comes to the maxx and revo. Its power to weight ratio.

I think the truck is going to be fast on track and fun but I am thinking when something is a miss it will be a pain in the azz to fix and it is lookn like a few things might break but only time will tell and cant wait to c 1 rip

I really want a revo after seeing that video. Now if I can just find a reason to justify buying my third RC cars in a 6 month period....
