well since no ones driven the genesis no one can really say....

but im actually gonna say genesis

thats cause it sould have MASSIVE torque with that .46 engine

in not sure it the .247 can handleit

I would say wait till the genisis comes out.It could be a total sucess or a total waist.

Also think abotu what hopups you can put on the mamoth with the money you saved.

I Will Strongly recommend the mammoth as the Genesis is not yet available. I have a Mammoth and the 247 is a hell of a engine., and the 20 LB Genesis well drop it from 5-6 feet in the air and see how much damage is done. So think about this 75% more weight and 65% more power, all I have to say that is if the extra 8lbs is purely strength then it will be an ok truck but if it was my cash i would get the mammoth and put a 2nd 247 in it and a few lil hop-ups and have a truck that will pull wheelies at 35MPh and still weigh less then a Genesis. hmmm....16-17 lb truck with 5.2 hp! wow this is a good idea i better get started!!!

My son has a Mamoth and it is a beast and its durible. other options may be a EK4 which I own. It has gobs of power, but needs a few upgrades to improve reliabillity. I also just bought a twin titan. It looks like a very well built powerhouse but I havent broke it in yet.

I don't want to start a flame war but the final specs for the Genesis have been put up on the Cen website. The Genesis weighs 17lb and has 5hp. So by the by the time you add the second 247 and other hop ups you will probably have more into the mammoth than the Genesis costs and the specs will be very similar.

The mammoth is definately quick and fast....its probably one of the best if not
THE best 1/8th scale track trucks out there. The 24/7 engine has been hailed by just about every review I have read. It is a wide, long and low truck, it more less falls in the "truggy" category. The Genesis is a far different animal... .46 power, 3 speed tranny, TVP chassis (simialr to Savage). The Genesis is even bigger than the Mammoth and is quite a bit heavier. Time will tell how the Genesis performs. If you were going to race on a track quite a bit I would say take the Mammoth....but If you were going to bash I would say wait on the Genesis. The Mammoth is a great track truck but it has weak spots just like the rest of the trucks......nothing a roll cage couldn't fix though.

I agree go mamoth! I have thought of a 2nd 24.7 engine for my sons but he is undecided.
It looks fairly easy though. I just weighed in my twin Titan..16lbs with jumbo Kongs on it!
Cant wait to get this monster broke in and see if it can pull the wheels with the kongs.

I voted genesis, cause I think it's worth waiting for.
If it turns out to be good (the current videos of it say otherwise, but you never know) I think it'll make one of the best bashers out.
Mammoth is a good truck too, from what I've heard, and I can't say XTM did it any favours in the videos of it crashing every jump(not the Mammoth's fault, but just another example of a not-very-good video of a new truck).

On the dual engine thing, I thought that if you tuned them even slightly differently that performance would be reduced over 1 engine, because the faster/torquier one would have to pull/push the other. But what do I know, I own a clod [X(]

A Second 24/7 Engine in the Mammoth????
I've been hearing blurbs about this, How is it incorporated into the chasis?
and how much more power, and or Tork does it actually provide?
Mammoth is 52 MPH out of the box?

With the Second Engine what can I expect to see the truck do
and how will it improve its performance?

The Undecided
