Finally Pics of my New Mammoth..
I have finally taken pictures of my new Mammoth. I have had a blast with this truck and would like to share them with the forum.
The body is the MGT H2 SUT and I painted it myself. Its my first attempt at painting an RC body. I really enjoyed doing it until a can of Candy Apple Red dripped and splattered all over the body after I had removed the masks for the flames.
I was really disappointed, but I decided to keep going and try again.

Let me know what you think. You can post comments on the website under each picture.
Thanks..

So far, the only spare body that I or my LHS has found that will fit the Mammoth is the H2 body.
It's originally designed for the MGT, but will fit the Mammoth. It's is still a bit short, but that makes it look almost more like a Real Monster truck.

Nope, the mammoth is a limo. One of the only things holding me back from buying one is that long wheel base. It looks soo goofy with that super stretched body. If XTM would release a kit for a shorter wheel base, i would be all over it. Maybe you guys could try the other MGT bodies. I know the RCX had an f-150 from Parma, that they made for the MGT. Might look ok on that mammy.

The H2 looks great on the Mammoth, in my humble opinion... I'm working on my second body for my Mammoth and having a blast. Now, granted, I would love to see a Chevy SSR body for the Mammoth, but for the moment, I will pay with the H2.
It's a good looking body on the Mammoth.. shortens up the total length and makes it look nice.
Just my humble opinion.

That is on my list of maintenance this week. I've decided to rebuild the shocks and put a bit heavier oil in them. This will be the first rebuild on the shocks, so it should be fun.

RE: Finally Pics of my New Mammoth..
I was wondering, just how long does a set of shocks last before needing rebuilding?
My truck is about 6-7 weeks old and I've driven about a gallon of fuel thru it. Haven't done alot of jumping, but some. Nothing major.
Help me understand why my shocks would need rebuilding so soon, or is this right on schedule?
Thanks,
