Duratrax 1/8 Thunder Quake Tuning help
First lemme state that my AIM is kgmcc7942. I have many other Im's. Any way, I just recently got a duratrax Thunder Quake and I broke it in. When i go in reverse, it doesn't seem to be as strong as it is in forward....Is this normal, or do I need to do some Tuning. And I am looking for a Thunder Quake Fanatic, that knows this truck, and knows some tricks, etc. Feel feel to email me at [email protected], [email protected]. (im always on AIM tho). Thanx if you can help, I REALLY NEED IT!!!!

The TQ being slugish in reverse is normal, its the same for me. For any other questions about your TQ, check out this forum completely dedicated to it: http://www.extremercparts.com/forum

RE: Duratrax 1/8 Thunder Quake Tuning help
I have the Thunder Quake and I like it a lot. You have to locktite every metal to metal to keep it sturdy. Make sure you screw down each shock cap. Anyway the truck has been discontinued but parts are plentiful. You don't have to buy a lot of parts to upgrade since it come upgraded as compared to Tmax or Savage. It is BIG. Most put XTM 24.7 engine in it to increase power and speed. Put stronger servo in steering.
