Default dual motor traxxas stampede?????

has anyone tried this? do you think it would be a good idea? and what do you think about it having dual batteries also?? Ken.

Interesting thought, I used to have one but I don't think it would work well, the stampede tranny was not designed to deal with the power of twin motors and the rest of it's drive componets are very small also to deal with any real power , battery wise I don't know where you would fit them because there is very little room on the chassis and the chassis has a high center of gravity which would make it more unstable with more power and speed. I had problems with busting drive line parts when I used just one high end moter in mine. I thought the stampede was discontined by Traxxas also?

no only the nitro version was discontinued. it was just a thought, i mean it would be a great project to try.

I have seen a custom 4wd with 2 stampede rear ends (twin motors) front and rear otherwise I dont believe the tranny would take the torque of two motors
