[&:][&:][&:] My truck has been sitting on my desk for quite some time now on a count that I have been procrastinating on ordering a new a-arm. Well, I went to go check up on the truck and I took the head off the engine and in between the sleeve and the piston there is a liquid. I know it is fuel... It seems like it is begging to gel over... is this a problem... well I know it is a problem. What should I do?

I was thinking the best way to clean it would be to just start the engine and let it idle for like 60seconds...

It will just make it harder to start.

Once I do it, will it be fine? Should I hose it with WD-40 after?

Take the head off. get all the gas out and wipe the top of the piston off with a rag and make sure it doesent leave any residue and drain the fuel tank and put some fresh gas in (you dont have to fill it all the way up) and run it out then put in after run oil and your ready to store.

yep i always clean my plane engine with WD-40 after the flight so it will help you and it will start very easy

Yea what Sypro said and next time run your Rc until your fuel lines are empty or at least try to do so.
