i want a new tuned pipe... the thing is, i dont know much about them... all i know is that if they are short, they help top end, and if they are longer, they help low end... its also possble to go too far both ways... i cant find much about the performance difference between these pipes:

These pipes are very good but if your only choises are those that you are mentioning then i would go with the THS or the ribbed pipe.

im just looking around right now, im not sure if what im buying is worth what im paying for... for example, i dont know how any of those pipes or the ones that you reccomended affect the way the truck handles in comparison to the stock pipe... the reason i asked about those first three pipes was because to me, they look the same but are different prices... the next three are just different...

back to the ones that you reccomended though, they look good, but what difference will make next to my stock pipe? even the ribbed pipe... i guess what im trying to say goes along the lines of 'why should i buy somthing as expensive as that when the ribbed pipe is known to improve engine performance as well?' sorry for the questions, but im curious... im not sure how much of a difference they will make...

The ribbed pipe is a good choice its cheap and will increase the performance, but if you buy a buggypipe like the ones that i recommended you will get even more power.
I dont really know the difference between those first pipes that you were looking at.

If you want more bottom end punch a chambered pipe that's big in the middle with a large outlet will be best. If you want top end, a plain pipe kind of skinny with a smaller outlet diameter will be what you want. If it's just stupid torque you want, the Paris AL650 will deliver that and then some, but you will rob yourself of some top speed. It's also hard coated so it's much less prone to bending or denting than an uncoated pipe. Almost forgot, last time I checked on one of these, Ace Hardare Hobbies had them for around $40 or $50.
