Well, it's inexpensive. I'm sure the motors aren't that great, and I believe it has a mechanical speed control, plus it's only sold in kit form so you have to build it (not a bad thing, just not for everyone). With a pair of brushless motors, it could be a good project.

Sounds like fun, I've considered getting one just to modify it. It only lists for $140.
What's the difference between it and the Wild Dagger?

I have one - Wild Dagger - same truck different name. Anyways, I love it. I have two Orion 15 turns, kept the msc, put bearings in it, an hpi bug body, some Associated 3 1/2 inch shocks on it, M03 aluminum front hubs, and a M03 Battery quick release.

The shocks that come with it are friction style, or c**p style. Also the gear case comes preassembled. Tear them down and put bearings in it before doing anything. You can get Dratrax bearings for a TL01, I think 24 bearings in all.

The truck is super durable, fairly fast and a hoot to drive. When jumping just keep the hammer down to keep the front end up. Otherwise it has a tendency to nose plow.

I am including a pic - check it out.

The problem is the amps. With two engines in parallel it effectively doubles your amps. Amps are what fries most escs. You could put them in series but this would drop your volts.

I dunno - I have heard of people putting in the esc from an E-Maxx and running two battery packs in the thing. You can get a chassis to hold two packs as well as 4 inch shocks.

Have fun with it, I did.
