Default Is this a good deal?

This is in RCU's marketplace, [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=33924]Monster GT[/link].

Does it get any cheaper elsewhere? Please let me know.

Nope, not a good deal. Ultimate hobbies has it for 429.

Hey Guys, I completely appreciate your feedback but this truck comes with a new 2100 NiMH Rx pack and wall charger, a New Glow Warmer w/meter and wall charger and a new set of Integy shocks that I believe have not been put on the truck yet.

I am assuming this is an excellent deal for $550 total which includes shipping and insurance.

If you want to buy it, go for it. Im just telling you, that you are basically paying full price for everything he is selling. Given it may be new, but you will also pay shipping too probably. Buy from Ultimate hobbies, and they usually dont charge shipping when you purchase over a certain amount. Either way, its your choice.

Thanks ThermalRD, I figured the extra Rx pack and Integy Shocks alone made the deal sweat. I still might take them up on the offer, just wondering what these trucks were going for these days. That link you posted looks good but I can't find a good deal anyplace else on the shocks, I really don't like the stock ones on the truck and don't understand why they come that way.

The stock shocks don't look that hot (I hate the fake piggybacks), but they perform very well. Trust me, I tried Integy PBs on mine, couldn't get them as good as shockers after playing around with different weight oils and pistons, and put the original back on. They work great.
