Default 6x4 Thunder King puller

I just thought I would post a pic of something I am putting together/working on now, It is a elc Thunder king which has a total wheel base of 19 inches. The plan is to use 4 mod elc 540's wired in seires and use 6-6 cell stick packs (36 cells total) also wired in seires to drive it using an Astro flight 205 speed contoler. It is just in the mock up stages to get the bugs out but this is what it will basicly look like. It should be interesting to see what kind of weight it can pull and how it will go.

btw, the bigger tires are EK-4 tires and the smaller ones are max mashers. I also got an idea for a cool nitro version.

Thanx for looking guys, it's 4wd. I got side tracked here and tested/mocked up an idea for a nitro version that I think would be KILLER!, it could be a real nasty nitro puller! lol

This unit would just bolt on the same way as the other (to the back half of the chassis). What you are looking at here is a 4wd system that has front and rear disk brakes, front and rear ball diffs and front and rear slipper clutches using a modified .82 K&B marine engine that makes about 4HP @ 24000rpm that makes some serious grunt/torque power. This unit has an approx 8 inch (axle to axle) wheel base. HEY!, it could even possibly be turned into the ULTIMITE MINI M/T... KILLER of ALL mini-t's lol.

the twin engine setup is a bit diffrent.

Hi Savage_Dias, yup, some of the club guys here want a pull/drag area at the park so we are going to make an approx 50' long area for this and buy or build a r/c type sled for it simular to this.
