Default Throttle brake servo

Does higher torque in the trottle brake servo translate into better braking. It seems to me that some would be lost compressing the spring or fuel tubing on the linkage but my guess would be that more torque is more so more would reach the brake.I'm thinking about upgrading brakes on my savage and wonder if a high power servo is also in order. While Im at it whats a good easy to install brake hop-up.

Just make sure you guys adjust the end points on the servo. It is very strong and you do not want it to mess up the armature on your engine. Getting one of those parts for your engine is like finding Iridium in your backyard.

A higher torque servo will make a big difference in braking power, but usually a higher torque servo will have a slower speed, which will make your throttle less responsive. I tried the HS-645 MG for my throttle/brake servo and the brakes were too good. But I had centering issues with that servo that affected the carb and idle spped so I removed it.
