Default Help Super Brain 959

I have a T-maxx and just got a Super Brain 959 to charge some of the batteries that I have for my t-maxx. When I pluged the Super Brain 959 smoke started to come out of the top of the box. So I quickly unpluged it. I felt that box and it was hot. I waited 10 mintues plug it back in no smoke, next I went to plug a battery in and nothing showed up on the screen. I have no idea what to do some one please help. Thanks

If it's new, then return it. If not then contact the manufacturer.

What type of batteries were you charging? How many amps? Did you read the manual before plugging the charger in?

All that I did was plug it in and smoke came out of the top a battery was not even pluged in. I unpluged it waited 10 min pluged it back in and there was no smoke so I pluged a battery in and nothing happened. I then tryed several other batteries none of them working. Nothing would show up on the screen. I did everything just the way the manual said to. Also I pluged it in to your standared every day outlet on the wall. I guess my only option is to return it. I justed posted this to see if anyone had this happen to them and had a quick fix.

nah, sounds like you should return it due to factory defect. I have never had that kind of problem before.

Hi, I got a few of these chargers and never had any problems with them yet, I think they are great "bang for the buck" chargers, sounds like you got a dud, it can happen some times.

does the brain hook up to a dc converter like the pit bull? did you check to see if you had the positive and negatives correct?
