Arghh! [sm=punching.gif]
Oh well! My Hobby shop is getting them directly through Traxxas, though, and not going through a distributor. I'm sure everyone and their mama has ordered one. Or am I the only one?

RE: Late June Revo?
That doesnt mean squat. If the Revo is still coming over here on a boat, like the rest of the RTR's, then you can expect the same delays as all the other trucks have faced, and are dealing with right now. My LHS tells me they ship the 20th.

RE: Late June Revo?
It could just mean that they are already on backorder for the shipment they are getting in first, and that shipment is already sold out, and they will get their next shipment in July. Atleast, thats what Im hoping

RE: Late June Revo?
ThermalRD, if you read the Losi threads, you would see that LosiCS has already stated that Traxxas does not have anything coming by boat and they do not have to worry about customs and delays. The Traxxas guys may be getting their thing sooner than us Losi guys. More power to Traxxas if their stuff is made here in the USA. If Losi would follow suite, perhaps we would not have to wait as long. Team Losi and "Made in the USA" sound much better than "Made in China without care for American Capitolist Pigs". LOL!

I'm all for "made in America" but just because Traxxas' stuff is assembled in the good ole' USA doesn't mean it's made here. They outsource all of their components to different foreign companies and just put it all together here. So no, they don't have to wait for the boat of finished product, because they stock piled their supply of Asian built parts before the news was ever released. It isn't any more "made in America" than Tamiya.

Was this
more informative than this?
Hardly.
What was political about my post? I was merely discussing the origin of manufacture of the Revo as it pertains to the consumer release of the truck in regard to shipping (or lack there of).
Didn't know that this was a political forum. Thought it was an RC forum. Thanks for your useless input

RE: Late June Revo?
My LHS is expecting 12 a week for the next 3 weeks starting June 28th. He said Tower only ordered 3,000 Revos for their 1st order.
Take that news how you want it, my LHS owner is known to be full of stinky brown stuff. I busted him on 3 lies this weekend by talking to a guy he races with.
