RE: Official Kyosho Mad Force Thread: Help!
ORIGINAL: Mad Racer
I thinking of getting a enslave mad force too, not sure yet. I used to owned a kyosho mad force, but I sold it. On ebay, it says that it could go up to 60+. Is this true?

It won't run 60mph, but I bet it's fast for a RTR. The speed claims from the more reputable companies like Traxxas are far fetched enough, but the companies that make all those knockoffs get really stupid with their claims. The Mad Force is a fairly lightweight truck with a nicely geared 3 speed transmission. Even with my weak little Kyosho GS.21(kit version) the thing wheelies very easily and has a decent topend too. If that .28 runs like a decent sport .28 should, then the Enslave is a fast truck.
The problem with the Mad Force isn't the truck itself, but rather the replacement parts for it. Where do you get Enslave parts? I guess I better start hitting ebay more often and stocking up on MF parts, cause now all the Enslave guys will be plucking them up...[]
You can always go through Kyosho Americas overpriced Shopatron website

The front and rear axles are the same width, the only difference between the two is that the rear axle has a hardened ring gear fitted to cope with the load of continious wheelies
as for the width its 12" outside hex to outside hex hope this helps

Well, since we are posting Mad Force goodness...
Here was my first Mad Force RCX... What a fun truck it was. I sold it and regretted it.
Then years later, I found another RCX and I don't intend to get rid of it. Its a shame Kyosho discontinued the Mad Force.
