i have an e maxx and the mammoth but my e maxx doesnt run because the evx is out on it this is the third time and i hate the truck but when it was running it was great. i would never go back to electric though but thats my opinoin. its got a lot of power for an electric truck so if you want electric thats what i would go for.

I have an emaxx and have been into rc for 16 years. I love it its the best electric monster out there hands down. One big upgrade is to get yourself a decent charger and two gp 3300 battery packs and youll see a huge difference. If you want something that handles and jumps great and can be made fast cheap look at a stampede. Once a fellow rc racer i know jumped his pede over a fullsize chevy van long ways and landed nothing broke on pavement! At the track we used to race 2wd monster stock class. Mostly pedes with a stock turn motor six cells and man they are so much fun to race. I am not sure what rc type you are looking at but both are great chooses. peace

I have a savage, emaxx and stampede . For me nothing beats nitro and even though I drive me electric cars they just dont get the blood pumping like nitro . The emaxx is , for me , the best electric monster truck out there but by the time you spend the money to make it run long and fast enough you might as well buy a Tmaxx/savage, etc and a stampede . Bang for the buck you cant beat the stampede . It is not a monster truck but sure is fun. My suggestion is TMaxx and Pede for 500.00. you can drive your Pede during cool down periods.

dude, tamiya TLT-1. that thing is sic, you can get 4-wheel steering and the unique suspension design allows for some sic articulation, somthing that the e-maxx cant do, and the e-maxx has no after market 4-wheels steer upgrade.

Dood buy an E maxx. I had one and it was one of the best trucks I have ever had. I ran 14 cells through it all the time and never had any problems.

There is a seller on eBay with the name RCBoyz that sells a conversion to make the E-Maxx 4-wheel-steering. The kit is about $130.

other then rock crawling 4 wheel steering is useless. I had a clodzilla 4 all done up and didnt use four wheel you roll at average speeds. I locked the back up and made the front turn sharper. If you want speed power and handling get an emaxx if you want to spend a lot on a electric crawler get a clod or txt 1. My opinion the emaxx is tops in its category and you cant beat the price point for what you get outta the box. peace
