It'd never happen. You'd melt the tranny before it got there

Well, maybe some rockets.

My first and favorite was a Blackfoot. I raked leaves/cleaned yards through the fall of 84 till the spring of 85 to buy it. Even then I was short with a bill of about $350. (dads are good with helping their 5 year olds with things like that.) I had a plane controller (as they were cheaper than pistol grip controllers) , and a endless supply of parts on hand. I remember the steering gear would strip alot.
The clod buster was very popular (ie: 4x4) but the blackfoot was way faster!!! The King Cab was definitely my dream RC.

yes!!!! the Lobo 2 was my very first RC when i was like 7 lmfao!!!! my step dad had a Grasshopper back then.
My best friend had a Grasshopper that could eat my Lobo (I) alive!!! I remember the store display for the Lobo III - Something about a scale speed over 280 mph!

His buddy had a 4wd off road rally car that could take his grasshopper (on grass). Those were the days, huh?

My favorite was the Tamiya Monster Beetle. I sure do miss mine.....but not those silly hexagon drive shafts. What were they thinking?

I can't be sure on the name, but my first monumental rc vehicle that start it all was a 2 wheel drive tyco baja buggy styled vehicle. It was one of the first of many rc vehicles to a hit a local department store near you. It had a pistol grip, looked realistic, and what i thought to be pretty dogone fast.

My first real step into all things nitro was my duratrax max mt. I was in awe with all the shiny parts realistic suspension, and all.

My first favorite rc nitro was the hpi nitro Rush, it gave me many a laugh and lots of thrills. It was worth the bang for the buck.

Wasn't a truck but a rail type Dune Buggy. The Kyosho Javelin, it was based on the optima line of cars they produced. Had a unique looking plastic tubing frame. Had more fun with it than any other RC I ever owned
