RE: Got my new CEN Genesis Today
check out Fantom engines site, they do have a good point about the WOT breakin mentality, basically the idea is to get the temp up high enough quickly enough to relax the pinch, then let it cool and repeat, this allows the pinch of the cylinder to be worn minimally, thus allowing higher compression longer lasting engine in the long run, and thermall matching of the parts.

RE: Got my new CEN Genesis Today
I started breaking in my Genesis yesterday. Haven't had anything good to say about it yet accept it looks awesome. The steering on mine is messed up. It will hardly turn to the right. I have adjusted everything every with way possible Still nothing. Its comes with a short antenna tube that is less then half the size of the wire, and when you wrap the remaining wire around the tube it causes the thing to go crazy. It idle so high from factory settings that it takes of when you start it up. You dont even have to give it gas. I had to keep giving it break to keep it from reving to high.
Curious if anyone else has had this promblem.

if you have an orange failsafe the truck is from the first batch. There were problems with the first batch and there is a care package comming out. Check cenrecing.com and look at the special announcement!
Hope this helps you out.

idk, it just sounds like the setting is off, you might wanna adjust idle a bit, that should slove it. Thats a standard procedure on every nitro car. Thats not a problem, just setting. Also, i always thought its a bad idea to wrap wire around antenna tube? Never did that so idk, but it just dont make any sense to me

Castle_va sounds like your trim is off. If braking it keeps it from revving then the throttle trim is too high. Back it off untill the truck idles in neutral. Alsobrake the truck in with the wheels up in the air if you can't get it to neutral. The throttle has to be closed whne your transmitter and reciever are on.
Something else to look at is your reciever! Mine was all jerky out of the box.

Make sure you put a decent filter on it the stock one is total crap, I learnt the hard way and had to buy a new engine due to dirt particle getting into the engine.
