Here she is in all of her glory after running through about 10 tanks today catching more air than an MX racer.
And by the way, for all of those who love to do nothing more than talk, bring it. Any track you can think of in NC, SC, and Va, give me a couple of weeks notice (I work a lot) and we can let em rip lol.

The one thing that stops me from buying this truck is the fact that it has no case for the reciver. And the fact that I have no money... Once I get money and once some company makes a case for it I will buy the truck unless I like the REVO or Genesis better. I am a huge CEN fan though....

Sweet shoes, I have no idea what you mean by what is this next to the LST. The truck that has the aluminum rims is my Unlimited Engineering Supermaxx. It's not somthing you can just buy, it's cost somewhere in the vicinity of 3000 dollars give or take a bit depending on your choice of engine and electronics. I chose RB Concepts for a power plant and The 3PK for a radio and top of the line servo's as well so mine is not cheap. As far as performance, you will not find anything like it. 1/8 scale buggies use 6 spider diffs to hold the power of the nastiest .21 engines out there, my truck uses 8 spider diffs, you can throw whatever you want at it.
As far as the reciever case, who needs one? It's not like it seals to begin with, it's there for peace of mind and that's it. I tear it off each time I am through running, blast it out with a compressor, and it's fine.

Oh and Shep, no body pics because that S7 motor yanks the front end so hard, it destroys the beds on all my bodies, even though the extended bodies are .060 which is thicker than normal. They look awful so they rarely ever go on. I am about to try a shorter crowd pleazer body though, maybe then it won't hit the ground everytime I gas it.

i didn't look close enough at my first post or i would have given you more props
just a few days ago i was browsing through unltd. engineering and drooling over the supermaxx. in my little daydream i was pairing it up w/ an rb engine in fact.
so how insanely fast is this thing (other than shredding the rear of the bodies)?

Damn they are making a ton of money off that!
I hope it came with like a pound of gold too because that's the most expensive 12-ish pounds of machined aluminum I've ever seen! God they must be making like 95% profits from that. Almost none of the money goes into the material it's all just machining. Even that's not expensive to do on a computer CNC tool like they use. It's really beyond comprehension for me. I think UE is just a tad bit: [sm=greedy.gif]
Nice truck though, it's quite good looking.

And actually, I'm pretty sure full SMs weight less than 12 lbs. Robin (AKA SM creator) generally makes his parts lighter or just as light as the stock parts. If not, it's a couple grams heavier, but bulletproof strong.

RE: New MT pics. 100% SM.
I was going to pick up a LST, but a I was a couple hours too late. My LHS got 6, 5 were presold, 1 was sold a couple hours before I got to the LHS.
I don't own a SM, but from what I read on the UE Forums, there are several people who own full aluminum Maxxes which weigh around 8-10 lbs. As for a LST being better, it would depend on the SuperMaxx. Cheaper, yes, better, who knows.

RE: New MT pics. 100% SM.
Thanks for the compliments and the smack talk lol, warms my heart.
As for weight, I promise you it's lighter than any aluminum paper weight you have ever seen. I will drop it on the post office scale monday but on a calibrated fish scale for weighing flight control break out forces (I am an aircraft mechanic), it's under 10 lbs, I just don't know oz's because it's an analog scale and it would be a very rough guess.
As for the price of UE. Robin is a one man designer, the money pays for R&D. Cutting the parts is not that expensive, you guys are right, the machines themselves, are. The time it takes to design a part, test it, break it, and start all over because it was not stong enough, that's the expensive part. When it comes to strength, there is no match. I have hit my ramp in the yard at full tilt which I have no idea how fast that is, but it is insane whatever it is. I hit it with just the left arm. It hit so hard that it splintered the ramp and actially pushed wood through the 3 unused shock holes on the lower arm like pasta, filled the allen heads up front with wood, and the truck cartwheeled at a rediculous speed. It didn't even blink. Flipped it over and kept rolling. I have owned probably 30 RC's from TC's to 1/8 scale buggies, nothing comes close as far as strength.
The motor is a stock RB concepts S7 with the pullstart mod done.
Lastly, Leave me alone about my yard![:'(] It usually stays like a golf course but it has rained so much this week, the yard is growing like it's on 'roids. I just mowed it Sunday and I did it again after I took those pics.
