Default RE: REVO

the revo would smoke the lst on the track because the lst wouldnt be able to last as long as the revo without breaking or having somthing fail. the revo would still probably beat the lst if the lst stayed together. but if you put a big block or an .18 in the revo, there is no doubt that it would eat the lst alive on the track. traxxas haters sure get anoying after a while, the only poor traxxas product is the t-maxx, but its the first of its kind so you cant expect it to be perfect already. its kinda silly how they assume that all other traxxas products suck and that every thing that they will ever make will be inferior to their favorite brand. but now i guess that some savage humper will come and call me a biased idiot because i dont hate traxxas, it never ends. if you favor the lst then dont come attack me, i like the lst too, but it has some durability issues right now wether you want to face it or not, but since the customer support is so good it doesnt really matter as much.

Revo vs. LST, 1/8 style track, LST would come out on top if both trucks didn't have a defective failure.

the lst has the revo beat on the straight aways because of the torque of a big block, but the revo spanks them in the corners because the revo can corner so much better due to the incredibly low cog.

The revo is 1/10 scl. and made of plastic and has a cool suspension, The lst is made of metal and very torquey , fast depends which four speeds you use on top of the little 3 hp. motor. so I guess it depends on who or where your driving. wherever it is just get hit by the LST.

lmao, like everything else. engines, clutch springs, trans gears, wheel hexs, a-arms, motor mount screws, motor mounts, lots of axles, striping slipper clutch nuts, alot of trucks dont hit 2nd, needles are not acurately set from factory, spur and pinions get chewed up, spur gears and clutch bells are getting chewed up, slipper screw breaking off, turnbuckles, striped steering knuckles. thats all i can think of right now, but i could find more if i went hunting. the revo is breaking rod ends, thats it. losi has alot of work to do on the lst because these problems arent one time things, they are all happening to alot of trucks, and wether you want to face it or not, the lst is a piece so far compared to the revo. now that i think about it i would definatly prefer a savage or revo over the lst, atleast until losi fixes all of the problems that they are having.

Most of those you mentioned are due to user abuse, or really simple things, or rare things. Especially spurs stripping. Most people don't mesh them correctly.

After browsing through the LST forum here, and on other forums, I don't even see 1/3 of the problems that you listed. And judging from your post, it's obvious you are partial to the Revo, and you're making statements about the LST when you don't personally own one. Have you seen one in person yet?

ya i like the revo, but all of the problems that i have mentioned about the lst are in the lst damage report if any thread, go look there and you will find more. i have never seen an lst in person before, except in the box.

Not all the people are having those problems. :] Some have their trucks running perfect, but you have to remember this: This is Losi's first monster truck. Got to give them props for that.
