Default My REVO Review

Ok, I finally got around to it, so here it is. I do have new pics I will post them at the end along with the new ones.

BREAK IN,
Break in went alright, it wasnt the best that I have heard, but this is my first RC, and I tried following as best as I could.
1st tank went really well, but the RX battery died right at the end of the tank so we had to wait for the battery to recharge.
2nd tank stalled A LOT, but we made a few adjustments I believe and it was better. Steering servo decided to die, so we had to wait till the next day to buy a new one.
3rd tank stalled some but not as much as 2nd tank.
4th tank was a great run, almost no stalls.
5th tank even better than 4th....love it!
6th tank we tuned it the best we could without a temp gun.
END BREAK IN

RUNNING,
This thing is fun to drive, we finally got a temp gun and tuned it so im running in the 250-260 on grass. The other stock steering servo did lock up on me, called traxxas and they replaced both . The durability is great, I've run it into a water line sticking out of the ground...no damage, hit various trees...no damage, flips...cartwheels...no damage. I even ran over my dad's revo and did no damage. I have put nearly a gallon through it and had no problems othert han the servos.

OVERLOOK,
Everything on this truck serves a purpose. There isnt anything on there thats just there to take up space. I love how the chassis is cut out to save weight, unlike what i see on the Tmaxx where its just a solid piece of alum. Suspension is plush, and innovative, I like the idea of the F1 style setup.

ENGINE,
It SCREAMS on high end, but low end could be better, and the carb seems a bit picky to me. Overall its a good engine, so it has room for improvment. I may have to get a big block sometime and compare them.

COMPLAINTS,
Not much to say here. I've already went over the low end. *I WOULD SUGGEST CENTERING YOUR STEERING SERVOS WHEN YOU GET IT* Its 1 o clock if I remember any more complaints I'll edit them in.

FINAL,
Overall great truck, I dont think anyone has the right to not like it. There are some improvments needed from the factory like trying to fix the plastic in the tank, and centering the servos.

I'm gonna go by the good 'ol Xplay ratings and give it a 4.....outta 5 [sm=thumbup.gif]

ON WITH THE PICS!
I apologize for the bad quality pics, i am using my sisters very cheap digicam.
RAWR!

I moved the fuel line around my way so i could get to the shut off clamp without taking the body off

Thanks for the Revo review. Maybe you should take some pics of the truck outside. Those are beyond dark. You can barely tell its even a Revo.
