LOL this is like your own little posting haven!

I'm still about 80% sure, just gotta run up to Larry's RC's and buy the right parts and pieces.

Wonder if i should run my Fiber skeleton since well I haven't raced or jumped much lately!

Well I'm 100% sure I'm going, but just not sure how early i can get up there...probably after 5pm.

Seems to be a rich/lean problem with my Mammy in current set up so i have to do some playing...but I'll be there.

PS. Bring the LST (or the shocks)...i wanna eye them up for my "More than Mammoth" Mammoth plans.

Larry's Performance Rc's is probably one of the best places in Michigan. They just leased out the entire building they are in so it's now huge! They only have an indoor on-road touring type track now (which is being reassembled for race season). Their prices on most things are about the same as online, sometimes cheaper.

www.larrysperformancercs.com

I do have to mention, while I love the place and all the neat stuff they carry...I feel obligated to point out their help is quite a joke. Pushy little know it alls, who commonly get put in their place by me and other customers, yet I hear them repeat the same WRONG things over and over.

Is there a race Friday? Or just open practice? I haven't been going to DirtBurner's much because it's the off-season and they haven't changed the track layout in forever. (They have been running Tuesday night summer series but it's electric only).

If there's a nitro race or something going on, i'll show up (1/8 scale buggy).

Did you guys go to the big race last weekend at Empire Park in White Lake? Pretty decent outdoor track. I watched a little bit Saturday morning but didn't race because the Dream Cruise was that day.

Regarding Larry's:

I agree it's a great place as far as inventory. They have nearly anything you could want in stock at that place, unlike DirtBurner's. I wish DirtBurner's had more inventory because i live within 15 minutes. Larry's is almost an hour away from where i live.

DirtBurner's is getting slowly better though, compared to a year ago. I try to buy most of my stuff from them because we need to keep tracks in business.

Ya, when i let off the throttle at high speeds, then hit it again, it revs without any power to the wheels. I've narrowed it down to the OWB in the trans, at the two speed mechanism. Looks like i'll be sitting this one out. Let me know when you are going Friday, id like to see that RB mammoth run. As far as the track layout at DB's, its changed 3 times that i know of this summer. The current design is real nice.

Hmm they still haven't solved that issue. That was one of the reasons I was not going to buy the original Savage21.

You can just rip it apart, clean the bearing with denatured alcohol, and stick it back in...

Anyone in Detroit thinking about buying an X-Factor, need to sell mine.
