Default 16% Nitro For MGT TT21 engine, is it too low?

Hello People,

What % of nitro do you run with your TT21 engine? I have been using 16% nitro but the engine got a bit too hot last weekend.

Go with Duratrax O'donnel 20% or Trinity MH fuel, if your lhs stock's those. Sidewinder is also good stuff.

I've not had troubles with Dynamite BlueThunder 20% fuel in my road car or MT's. You may have troubles with idling using very low nitro content. Also, I think a higher nitro content actually cools the engine, but I've heard very valid arguments both for and against this so don't take my word as law on this.

My LHS said Sidewinder has gone out of business! The one they now stock is called "YORK" & I found no information about it on the net.

WRONG, sidewinder has not gone out of business. Both of my LHS's carry it, and as well as big hobby shops, such as www.towerhobbies.com

In that case, may be Sidewinder is no longer available in Hong Kong then. Bad Luck for me!

Has any of you heard of YORK fuel?
