RE: Genesis Review part III!!
Thanks Alpine thats extreamly helpful...
Ok i have one other question My friend owns a Rc shop which is also a online shop, My bro also works thier for him...( I would put a link to his site so that you can see its genuine but I dont think Rc universe would appreiciate it what with compitition and all that ) As i was saying we all live in England and we are looking into getting a account with Cen So that we can stock the genesis and parts, And what ever other cars they have to offer, I dont think its a good idea to email them as i emaild them a while ago and i didant get any responce.
I dont think we will be able to phone them as its difficult to call over seas what with the time differences. So we do not really know what the best way to contact cen is to arrange a account would be....
Does anyone have any ideas..?
Cheers Andy

Hi jected.
I don't find the roll cage on RC solutions page? Do I have to e.mail them for more info, or is it custom made for you?

RE: Genesis Review part III!!
Hello All,
I have recently purchased the CEN Genisis LT Truck, now this thing is completley off the rikter. it takes sooooo much punishment wether it be in the park or on the track it is truly brute force truck. Now I am experiencing a really annoying problem.......When the truck stalls due to being flipped and it running out of fuel and or the throttle shutsdown to quickly causing to stall the engine just will not start unless you leave it for 10 minutes to cool back down!!! THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING[:@][:@][:@].
Now I have a raptor and no matter how hot it gets it always starts at the slightest tickle of the Rota starter. Can anyone help has anyone experienced such problems and or any solutions. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated and I hope this reaches some one and off course in good health.
have a great day.

RE: Genesis Review part III!!
If that happens, more often than not you have overheated the element in/on the glow plug. You must have left it running a while upside down before you got to it.
If this occurs just change out the plug with a new one and it should start no probs. With the CEN motor (running an Enja #5 plug i reckon is best) when running at optimum temp 100-110 degress celcius, and no overheats (rollovers, run dry etc) you are still only looking at a life expectancy of 45min to 1 hour tops. Racing it and warmer weather can see changes every race or 30 min.
And your right you don't have to do this on a savage/LST etc but don't forget your also running a bigger, more powerful motor. Just one of those things unfortunately.

RE: Genesis Review part III!!
I have a revo 3.3 on order but am tired of waiting. I've looked at this truck and read alot about it. Is the Limited Edition truck a good all around bashing truck with alittle racing on the side? I'll be racing my buds and mainly jumping and running in grass and dirt. They all have traxxas 2.5r stock and one has the 3.3 tmaxx. Anything about this truck against competition would be helpful. I know nothing about Cen but have read this forum thread up and down. Has the axle problem been fixed on the LE truck. I know the radio is better and the servos look too have more torque to turn the massive tires. Just in general thoughts about this thing. Should I buy or wait till who knows when on 3.3.

RE: Genesis Review part III!!
CEN has taken care of the axle problem, but I can't say if they have mounted them on all the trucks yet. But you will have warranty so just send the broken axle in and get the new one.
i have had mine for 1 1/2 year now and it still runs great. It can take a lot of beating, but if you bash it to hard it will break.
I can't say that you should go for the genesis all I can say is that it's a great truck.
You have to see it to believe the torque of this engine!! The size is very impressive, it just runs over everything
I know you will make the right choice
