Getting a truck \o/
My m8 just recently got a T-maxx and after playing with it for a few weeks and im hooked. Although weve broken it 5 times already (pretty much every time we took it out) im still gagging for my own. Yesterday we were taking it over a small ramp with a 4ft drop on the other side and managed to break the engine mount, and the rear shock tower . So until we get new parts were out of action.
My first choice at the moment is the Mammoth. Ive been reading the forums and webbys for a week now so I know the generally agreed advantages and applications of most trucks
and the mammoth seems to have it all. Its BIG, fast and durable and is one of the cheapest larger trucks so at the moment im sold.
On the other hand ive taken a liking to the GS SUT which is smaller but a better racer with greater acceleration/turning.
I cant wait!

Either truck is an awesome racer actually. I'd go with the Mammoth just because I like its design better.
Wild hobbies just did a review on the SUT here: http://www.wildhobbies.com/news/defa...articleid=1244

The mammoth is an excellent jumper, and its fast. It also turns great. My friend owns one, he loves it. The gs sut is nice, but IMO the mammoth overall is a better choice, especially for the price, and all the hopup's. If you want too smoke your friend's maxx, get the mammoth.
There's also many other trucks. For you, since your new too the hobby, and cant jump too well, i'd say definately savage.
Your choice, as long as you have fun, its all good

I Have had my Mammoth for 2 weeks now.
I do not regret my purchase in any way.If you do get a Mammoth....get the shocktower support brace. It makes a big difference.[sm=thumbup.gif]
