what do ya'all think ablut the wasp 28 engine???

i have just bought a savage and have not upgraded yet... i have been given some advice and was going to go for the hot bodies conversion kit witht the 46 engine... but have been informed of the wasp 28 which is supposed 2 b the bomb!!!

p.s i wana buy a set of phat rims if you have any for sale please mail me or buzz me

its probably got too much power , at least for street/ grass use, probably b ok in dirt.

whatever you do DO NOT get that conversion. that engine is the worst thing that will ever happen to you. it is merely a converted heli engine and is not meant for that application. if you want the longer wheelbase and wheels, get the sport / economy kit that they offer and buy a better engine (xtm24.7, wasp .26 or .28, etc etc.)

just my opinion, but the engine IS crap.

The WASP or Orion .28 is the same thing as the Fantom .27 with a larger bore...thats all. So read about the Fantom and you'll know the issues if any with the WASP .28

The LRP engine is the same as the SH .28
