Kinda hard for us to tell if there gonna work or not, I mean im sure they would if you play your cards right. All you can really do is give it a shot and see if it works.

i was jus thinkin that all these homemade shock tower braces have 1 flaw, they connect the show towers together so if u land hard enogh it just wont bend 1 shock tower it will bend both so u need to support for it going to the chassis

I have thought about that as well....
I have my eye's on a full roll cage on the auction site....39.95 and the body fit's right over it.
After that....[sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif]

The problem with the roll cages is that the bad ones connect to the tops of the diff cases and a hard hit will wreck your diff cases just as bad as not having a cage at all. The good cages connect to the shock towers effectively attaching them together. In this case you have the same problem as the brace that hooks the two towers together with no roll cage component. If you crash hard enough with the corvetterick brace that rayray shows it will bend. You just bend it back and start over. The likelihood of bending both towers is decreased considerably because you have twice the strength and also the corvetterick brace has ridiculously sturdy plates that mount to the brace and shock towers. Go with carbon fiber towers and the corvetterick brace and you will be golden.

You guys the Dadder's Cages for the Mammoth are super nice...he sometimes has them on ebay...I'll post up some pics tomorrow!

I bought a Mammoth cage from 330Design on the XTM forum (he is no longer selling/making them) but it's a skeletal one very strong and can not break.

Also RC solutions makes one similar to 330Designs.

Who makes carbon fiber towers for the Mammoth?
No one anymore...a Guy on the XTM forums used to sell them...made a good 50 sets or so, but now he does not offer them any longer.
