Default Updated MT chart!!! not dial up friendly yet...

Here is the latest iteration of the MT chart. It is still going through changes. As soon as we get it complete, hopefully we can get it sticky again.

Comments welcome. I will compress it to a reasonable size too.

damn, now that's a chart. To save some space you might want to lump the most common nitro accessories in a corner and just reference them as a nitro starter kit + whatever else.

oh, and you're probably going to have to make the engine sizes a bit... more obvious for the traxxas motors

i.e. tmaxx has a 2.5 cc / .15 ci motor
savage has a 4.1 cc / .25 ci motor

anyways, great job!

That's a negative on the discontinued and electrics. 99.9% of the competition is in the Nitro market, and since there are SO many new models, it doesn't make sense to me to report on discontinued ones...

Thanks though, and I encorage if anyone wants to see any other charts- make them! By all means. I do the nitro MT's because that is what I am most interested in.

Please quote the source! Thanks! Anyone else, this chart is only as good as your input makes it. I tried to get as much info as possible, I am relying on you to help me fill it in! Feel free to PM me with any more information. All I ask is that you tell me the source of information so we can keep this official- the source can be an official website, reputable magazine or catalog.

Perfect... even too specific. Just mag and month/year is all I need. I will TOTALLY BELIEVE YOU! No need to be specific.

Xfactor 2 has different gearing (based on the website) for more top end, so I didn't want to quote the Xfactor 1 speed. Thanks.

Tamiyakid, ALL of your updates will go in tonight/tomorrow... THANKS! You will get props too of course.

I will include the EK4 since I had it in the original chart. I will probably add the dirt demon and gladiator too. I am not trying to alienate any others out there.

Nice update Dale, that's a lot of information!

A printable PDF version would be cool, something to take the the hobby shop when looking at trucks. And maybe a flash version of it could make it a smaller download for 56k'ers. Just an idea.

Also for the LST drive-train you should make it a point that the truck has high and low gear ratios on the transmission. For a total of 4 forward gears, manually activated of course.

since this is a comparison chart i feel that you should instead of making a horizontil row that say the company name make a vertical clolum that say the company.

would you also consider putting in the ofna blazer sst its considered to be a stadium/monster truck, and also the hot bodies truggy?

I have made some changes based on your input Tamiyakid! Keep it coming.

The Ofna Blazer isn't really an MT... I dunno, I was going to put it, but it is more like an 1/8 scale ST...
What do you all think?

There is very little info on the Hot Bodies truck yet- I will add it when I can get more specs on it.

sorry dude, I went on Cen Racing's website and couldn't find 45MPH+ claims on the MT2 anywhere... If you can copy and paste it, or link me to exactly where you see it, I will definitely add it.

hey, isn't 45 considered greater than 40 as indicated by "40+"? So he's technically right, just not too accurate.
