the savage is still the crown holder with the tmaxx for best over all mt, don't denie that. atleast teh savage doesn't break when you land a perfect jump

yeah my old t-maxx ripped stuff up. and after they both were out for a while the aftermarket stuff really improved the trucks. but.... be warned. after market companies are all over the lst. give it 6 months and its all over boys!!! losi will have the bugs worked out and there will be solid aluminum lst's with .28's in them. haulin by ya in a wheelie!!!!! stock savage,t-maxx's,revo's. all way behind my stock lst on the track.

i probebly will stay away from the aluminum myself. never helped my t-maxx much except for the bulkheads. just weighed it down. there are some carbonfiber decks avalable for the lst. real light weight. im interested in different engine options and the a-arms. high performance clutch kits. and the high speed gears are going to be out in a couple months. im hearin 55mph.the bottom end is already sick anyway. well...... sick enough to pull away from those savages and t-maxxes!!!!!!lmao!!!!

one of the rigs i have is the xtm x-cellerator. .18 engine. very light little stadium truck. so incredibly over powered i cant even run it on the track. it actually smolders the rear tires on pavement. then i get it on dirt . forget about it. well it was a problem anyway. i blew the engine a few weeks back. then i got the lst. so it sits.

Im most likely getting a S-Maxx for my b-day (im helping pay for it on my own b-day cause im poor
), and for x-mas i will get a few hop-ups and a 4wd system.

i would love to get that x-cellerator going again but im saving my money for the losi. i just know something awesome is going to come out soon for that truck. i can scence it!!!!! the x-cellerator was awesome on tar. 0-55 in like 4 seconds with the setup i have. i bored the header and opened up the engine a bit. still got 5 gallons out of it after tweaking it. man it was fast. can you immagine having your car sitting next to you running. then punching the gas, and it just starts baking the tires? nothing like it.instant permagrin.but i cant stop playing with my lst. i love too much..... its sad really.

Now a days, people are either into racing MTs or, like me, BASHING MTs. Kyosho has something that I am trying to figure out whether if its gonna be raced or not, but twin .26's should dominate anything lol. SHOULD!

People also forget how the savage has THICKER plastic and metal because it is a 1/8 scale truck compared to a 1/10th Tmaxx. Tmaxx started up the MT rave and the Revo is continuing that with a more reliable and more durable truck. As I recall, how many rewards does the savage have compared to the tmaxx? how many other trucks have rewards compared to tmaxx? Tmaxx comes on top all around except for being hefty and tank strength parts like the savage.

but i agree with rccars, but like what else can u do with a MT "now a days"? i always thought there was a racer and basher, is there another catagory? [&:]

i couldnt take 2 engines. i would just snap if i had tuning issues with 2. i would end up busting a vein in my forehead or something.
