Nope, i did not run on it today. I'll be there tomorrow with my sav, LST, and Revo. Is your truck broke? Or you just need a ride?

No, to my knowledge they no longer have a web site. The old website was done back when Bill and Fred owned the store. Ed owns it now.

Awesome day at the track guys. The track layout is real nice. When i first got there i fired up the savage. My SS is running Dirt Bonz, and an XTM pro. I wont go into huge detail about setups. When i first put the savage down it was pushing real bad in corners. It didnt help that the track was really moist from the watering the night before. To get the SS around that track i had to really work at the turns. I ran one tank, and set it down. My savage is in need of some TLC for the track. My steering linkage is really sloppy. So i dumped the savage in the trunk of the WRX, and let my buddy use the dirt bonz. Next up i wanted to test my LST setup. LST was running the XTM tires, and wheels i had posted a while back. Fired it up, and the tune was way off. The cold weather today caused all the trucks to run lean. After tuning i thru it down for some laps. The first double was not really a good test for the suspension. The next set, a triple went extremely smooth. A few laps later, i realized my tires, and suspension setup had paid off. The truck was screaming. I started to push it harder with each run. At about tank 3 i was thinking to myself, "damn, this truck is layin it down today". I was real happy at that point. For a glimmer of a moment i was thinking the LST was the truck i would be racing next weekend. After that tank i set her down, and got a bunch of compliments about how dialed in the LST was. The flawless laps were the payoff. So i decide to fire up the Revo. This time around, the Revo was running 40 series dish, and bow ties. After a quick tune on the engine, i set it down. It took about 2.3 seconds to realize how responsive this truck was. The RPM's are endless. This truck was just plain running, and performing awesome. I think it shocked alot of people to see how good that truck did on the track. I really gotta hand it to traxxas. The Revo has been the best MT purchase i've ever made. I continued to run about a half gallon thru the Revo today. No broken parts on any trucks today. Not that i've noticed yet anyway. I'll be at DB's next sunday, for the first race of the season. I hope to see some of you guys out there on Sunday.

Im not positive but i think they let ya run until 11, or 11:30 to setup your car. I believe the qualifying starts at 12:00. Like i said though, im not positive. Either way, you should get there when they open and run atleast a couple tanks thru the truck to get a feel for the track. From what i saw today practicing, and the other guys i know. There should be a good mix of maxx trucks, alot of savage trucks, an SUT, possibly a couple Revos besides mine, and maybe some dominators. I would like to see the TNX. I have been told they are a good race truck. Did you buy any better shocks? Or are you running stock shocks?

im still running stock shocks, i only have 30 some odd dolloars for fuel and get in, i have hockey in the morning so i should hopefully be able to go if everything goes ok with the truck this week. i am still playing arond with the tuning to see which is better. thanks for finding this stuff out, chris

Yes, Sunday is ALL gas racing. The MT's might not even be up first. I'll try to get the details, and info sheets this week sometime.
