My 4x4 doesn't work...
Ok, I was driving my truck this weekend, and all the sudden my front end stopped pulling. I picked up my truck and gave it a little gas and all four wheels turned, but when you set it on the ground the front end doesn't get power under a load. WHat is wrong? I don't have any stripped gears, so I am kinda lost on what it might be.
Cen MT2......
What do you guys think?
Thanks for your help!

Make sure your front wheels are on TIGHT to thier hex nuts and not slipping. Since your truck doesn't have a posi track, it's like all real trucks. Power goes to front left and right rear.
Also, look underneath at the front drive shaft and make sure it's okay.

you may have stripped the gears in the front diff also after checking the set screws on the cups . Grabboth front wheels and turn them in opposite directions and see if it feels smooththe diff is probably ok.the cup on the frontof trans tends to come loose more frequently than the others.

Also, make sure your drive pins(behind each wheels hex nut) aerent broken, or missing, and make sure the front rims hex hub slot isnt stripped out. Also, power does not automatically go to front left, and back right like was mentioned. Unfortunatley, the wheels with the least traction get the most power, because its easier for the differential to spin them. So if you held both right tires on your truck(front and back) and had the left ones of the ground with no resistance, then your left wheels will both spin. The right ones would try to spin a little while the motor was still accelerating hard, but after the motor quit accelerating they wouldnt hardly pull at all. Good luck.

wow i cant believe that no one mentioned this.
check the set screws on the drive cups for the center drive shaft. that is where i have had the same problem several times before i learned about the miracle of thread-loc.
