Well, after waiting week after week, they finally sent me the SILVER LST diff cases. It figures, the second i buy the blue diff cases, I end up with the silvers on my porch today. Oh well, they'll make nice backups. One thing i noticed that you can already see in the picture, the silver diff cases come assembled. They also have an extra set of screws. The blues are obvisouly in the pic un-assembled with one set of screws. I'll take some more pics later out of the package.

so that was what the box was in the pic?? silver for front and blue for back? looks nice. are you briniging the lst to DB on sunday. i hope i can go

I like the aluminum/silver ones far more....blue is too over done (own a Mammoth and you'll agree!).

im tring to get there, like ive said before if i dont make it this sunday ill try next sunday and so on.
when i got my buggy it was all blue aluminum, i kno what you mean... i almost bought that mothers stuff that removes the color so it would become all silver

Easy Off (yellow cap) also takes of anodizing color off of aluminum easier and faster. Use caution though Easy Off is dangerous to the skin as well as the eyes and nose.

No, the box in that pic last night was the Revo body i ordered off ebay. The blue diff cases i picked up from my LHS. The silver came from Horizon, and was delivered today. Im using the silver right now. The blue actually look nice. The color is bright, but its still paint. I've been tearing my truck down today for clean up. I gotta say im a little frustrated. I was real happy last night, and then i went and opened the rear diff. Front diff was fine, but the rear diff oil was everywhere. I see that the screws really should be a bit longer. My diff housing is showing serious signs of wear. Its back together now, but i dont think it will last long. If this truck starts blowing diffs every time i go to the track, i think i'll be done with it. Im trying to remain positive, but its hard at this point. I wont have the truck with me Sunday. I only race the Revo. If you've ever seen me on the track with both trucks, you'll know im alot faster with the revo, and its just more reliable.

From everything I have read the diff cases are an instant upgrade that everyone should do. As usual Thermy baby, nice stuff

I have had zero diff issues since installing the aluminum diff cases. You may have to adjust the shims for a perfect fit.
