RE: should I buy a savage or a revo
Yea, I definately have been doing my research about the trucks.. I've also been doing some searches. I've also drove the revo too.. I loved the truck. Right now I'm leaning towards the Revo cause of its handling and performance out of the box. But the lhs told me that the savage I can pretty much put any size of motor and lots of mods out there. The Revo doesn't have much mods out there right now and a limited amount of space for putting a motor in... I'm new in the hobby I've just been doing my research online for the last 2 weeks... But I want a Monster Truck for sure.. I've also been thinking about getting the Emaxx the electric MT but I'm not sure if the performance of an electric car can match a nitro.. I'm pretty much going to purchase a Revo but if you guys can convince me of something else let me know.

I pick revo over savage because I am more of a racer dude. Wait for savage's new 3 speed tranny, thats changing my mind on how much i HATE savage... it might go from hate to like [>:]

Definately consider The tamiya TNX in this equation. I own a TNX and a Savage and the Tnx will run rings around the savage. The savage is tippsie because the engine sits high in the chasis, and hinders the handling. I have the REVO also But I can't tell you because I have never drove it. Please do yourself a favor and look at the TNX, Im in love with the way this truck runs, handles; climbs its just awesome!!!!

Between the two i would vote revo...Yeah the savage is supposed to be the king of bashing but i have seen some vids with the Revo and it is one strong truck too. I have a LST and very pleased with it.
