REVO Final Approach
Im planning on going out on Sunday and getting a new Revo from my lhs. Ive read over the hundreds of threads all you guys have posted in the last few months and learned a ton. I sort of want a faster type MT that has upgrades out there I can get easily and just plan to run it in a yard and around my place.
What I wanted to ask with 48 hours or so before I buy was, do any Revo owners around or anyone with close personal experience (IE. Not just you drive another truck please) have anything pressing to say negative about the truck? Ive learned I may need to throw down some added money, but didnt want to have to dump 500 bucks on top of the truck cost because I plan on just driving around my yard and stuff for now. Maybe even cue me in on what exactly -neeeeeds- replacing off the line to make it tough enough for some bumps and bruises.
Thank you in advance for your help. Yes Ive already read all the other threads, but no nobody has asked this particular question, yet.

the only real thing that goes on them is the shock rod ends, the eyelets elongate and break, you can get alloy replacements though, the other things to get is progressive position 2 suspension piviots as the stock ones make the suspension a bit to soft, other than that its a great truck

RE: REVO Final Approach
ye, with the stock rockers, ull have mega travel, but id rather keep my truck in one piece , so put on the 2. u will notice total difference.
well man, i wish u luck on the truck. it is a far out coool truck, nice setup, looks a bit F1 type which i like, and it fast. and as LST man said: Im a LST fan so that says something, i think u can say the same for me, only im TNX fan
Make some nice pics, always love adoring a new truck(totally clean )
