I have to much time on my hands, check this out:)
I am in the process of fabricating a mount for this ASP.91 airplane motor and prop for the front of my revo just because I am bored and have nothing to do till April. I dont care if it messes up my revo or anything else. So keep your neg comments to yourselves. If you have any pos ideas on how to get it to succesfully work I'm all ears. This is gonna be hilarious when I do get it going. Will surely post vids. Hardest part is what to do with the front suspension? Lock it right up?Going to mount another throttle servo under the roll bar and link them with a y harness so they work in sync. The motor will be sitting aproximately 4.5 inches above the hood of the body when it is mounted.

my only question is why? also you have to make it so that the prop will clear the ground when the suspension is all the way down. mabye you coudl angle the prop up some? if you put the .91 in the back and angle the prop up tward the sky then you woudl get trust form teh prop and it woudl give you better traction in the rear. just an idea.

LOL.Never seen a front mounted engine on an air car.Usually set up as pushers for some reason.Good luck and don't forget to figure your thrust line out under power or it'll be airborne before you know it [&:]

LOL, see this is good Back might be a better idea and have it pushing intead of pulling. I am doing it just because I got the silly idea in my head when I was pulling it out of a plane and I don't have to work again tillapril. I took voulunary layoff My wife is a pharmacists so we can handle the lil paycut for a couple months I am making the engine sit 4.5 inches above the body because that gives my 1.5 inches of clearance when the suspension is fully depressed. Gonna put a composite blades on it too.

nice. it looks interesting, but how much more torque will it give you? i guess it is a really powerful engine, try it and see. get those vids up when you are done. what im saying is will it be faster, becasuie it has to conteract all that extra weight.

The engine is extremely more powerful, "Stress Extremely" than the 2.5R
2.5R(.15) Piston = size of a penny(maybe)
ASP .91 Piston= size Half Dollar
I have no Idea what it is gonna do ? But I am quite curious to find out. It pulled my Cermark Extra 300, 62" wingspan, to i would guess, speeds of around 100 mph in straight level flight.
