Default Start of my E maxx (Project: bunchofshinypartsonamaxx)

Well today my Christmas present from my Girlfriend showed up, my new E maxx. I had decited around a month ago that I wanted another maxx so I looked on Ebay and the forums and either the person was asking to much or they wouldn't ship to Canada, so I decited to just buy a new one. Everything on this truck I am buying brand new, nothing will be used. I have picked up 2 7 cell 3300s, and some integy piggybacks that were going to be used on another project but are now going on this. I have picked ul some goodies off Ebay that I am just waiting for to arrive.

I will have lots of pics on the way as parts start to arrive. By no means is this going to be a monster by christmas but will slowly turn into a really nice truck.

Stay tuned for more pics.

Just a bit of advice, don't use it until you've replaced all the stock parts that you're going to because you will get more for something new then something used and scratch when you resell the parts you aren't using.

Well I haven't driven this one yet. I am waiting on a few parts to come in first. However, knowing how my last maxx was I can only assume this one will be the same.

I may re do all the connectors tommorro and take it out for a rip. I did though however want to work on this truck clean.

Well I finally get fed up looking at my stock maxx that I decited to start putting some of the parts on, and I must say the red and silver look Awsome!! together. I am really happy I went with red instead of blue. I wish I could have had a better picture of the bottom to show how the skids and axle braces look together.

I am still waiting on a few more parts to arrive. I am also going to order the integy spring kit so I can get the matching red springs for the shocks. THe red ones on the truck now are just the stock maxx springs.

Well after about 10 mins of running this is whats left.

I was running the truck and having a great tiem when I noticed smoke coming from under the body. I grabbed the truck ripped of the body to see the side of the batterys glowing and sparking. From what I gathered the bars that were used were not even battery bars. So to make this quik I now have 100 dollars worth of fried batterys and one dead evx. [:@]
