We dont have a part number, or a price yet. All speculation at this point.

Rumors are there is a an updated SS coming out with the 3 speed and a .28. There was a guy over at Savage Central that said an hpi tech confirmed it was true, so I guess it is just a question of when.

I've heard it's going to be upwards of $100-$120 but again it's just rumors.

i would think in the range of 100-120, cause a complete MGT gearbox is 110, and the 3 speed is a complete gear box with an extra gears.

its all just speculation, but i heard it was a kit that would re use some of the stock tranny equipment.

Hmmmmmmmm?????? 3 speed tranny for my Savage? MGT? or a TNX!!!!!!!?!?!? Which should i ask the wife for?!?!?!!?!?LOL...LOL... My only prob with it is that its already troubling to have to take the whole truck damn near apart for maintenance. or to replace parts... Not really sure its worth the additional headache of it all....

yes i kno, it was in an article in one of the RCCA editions, its all the gears you need to replace each gear in the gearbox plus the extra speed, it may be a kit, but the pic should it all assembled in and was held all together in a box, i would take the stock gearbox housing

mammoth is 52mph out of the box, ... the savage will get a 10% speed increase... thats 40 mph, its not enough to justify the price....
