Does the truck go any faster or slower with the new engine & stock gearing than it did with the .25? And how did you bend the Brace bar without it breaking?

i don't have a speed gun or anything like that but i venture to say all stock it top at about 33mph. now i guess about 28 or 31mph. but the upside is it reaches this new speed in half the time. sounds Krazy but its true. this thing has smokin dope power.

No, I have one already and am looking to upgrade it. Right now i have my eye on a 200 ounce/inch steering servo, jumbo kong tires (do they come in packs of 2 or 4?) and that engine.

My MGT is a beast!!!! I been riding it hard for 2 days now and havent broke a single thing. This truck is wayyyyyyyyy tough. I seen 2 REVOS at the track on 2 different days, and both roke down hard. ! didnt even run for 30 seconds, the guy took one jump on the track and blew out his tranny and cracked his motor mount... Not the MGT though. plus i put in my XTM 24.7PRO in this thing and it huals monkey balls!!!!! I was catching and out running some buggies. I just need a better steering servo and some bow ties and i'll be set...Im loving this thing.........

i didnt vote for the best because they all do what they do exceptionally... but eventually went to the LST simply because it has a $180 engine, $200 radio, so 380 worth of upgrades put into other MTs coming standard, so thats $170 for the LST if it was a roller it may be the most expensive... but damn if it isnt worth every freggin penny

and as for the fastest MT under 400... the mammoth is radar'd at 52 mph... the rest are -43mph

Is the channel 4 mod even legal for racing... seems a lil too good to be true...lol..lol.. I just plannned on a 200plus oz steering servo upgrade. That should turn the meats around corners easily...lol..lol... Heres the link to mr threrad to see it in a lil action....pix/video.. i was really happy with it. blows my savage25 away.... plus with the XTM24.7 PRO big block in it.. it was haulin!!!! I also added red springs to it 2 in front and 2 in back.. i still felt the nose diving, but it helped out some...next imma go with all reds in the front.... http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/PIX_...2470907/tm.htm

yes its legal. upgrading the servo is a good idea also, but even with the better servo you still should do the 4-channel mod. AE even recommends it...come to www.monster****rum.com and they have alot of good info for the MGT..
