Default GLOW PLUG TROUBLE

Merry Christmas all!

I finally got my T-Maxx! I'm having abit of trouble changing glow plug though? I can't seem to get the blue wire off the plug. I'm pulling really hard but don't want to break it off or damage the wire. I tried pliers and tweezers but no luck? Any tips on how i can get it off.

Thanks alot

BaTTy

are you pulling straight up or at an angle? also when you put the pliers to pull, did you put them all the way down were the wire meats the glow plug, if so you might have clamped the wire more. can you take the glow plug off with the wire on it?

Just rip the wire off and get a glow ignitor!! Much less hassle!

second that, amen brother. that ez start thing is great, but you gotta get rid of the blue wire and use a seperate igniter. youll get a much better tune also because you will be using all of the voltage from the igniter to ignite the plug instead of splitting the 7.2 volts amongst the motor starter and plug igniter.

to get it off, pull it off at a 45 degree angle from the plug, and push down. this should pop it off. then unplug the remainder of the wire from the ez starter harness on the shock tower. then zip tie the remaining wires together and keep on truckin.
