Default (PIX)1st time at the track with the truck....

The truck ran awsome. I was there for awhile also ran my MBX5 which as always ran perfect. I took out the stock .21 and put in my XTM 24/7PRO. this thing was hualin ballz...One thing i noticed about the MGT though is that the stock tires just have no traction what so ever on the track, also the truck was nose heavy when going over bumps and especialy on jumps. I figure that being from it being heavy or the stock shocks just suck. maybe both.. besides that i had an awsome time and didnt break a single thing. Im gonna upgrade the steering servo cause it turns a lil too wide for me. Other than these little things im happy...hmmmmmm i think im going back out.. My MGT did the same nose diving. Put a heavier spring up front, and 5wt heavier oil. If you do a search on RCU, you'll find my shock setup for that truck. It was pretty dialed in.

i run 45wt shock oil in front and 40 shock oil in rear. my almuninum shocks work great and jumps nice. I got some big jow tires, they are soft and really grippy.[&:]

Big Joes are not by any means a track tire. Unless of course your track is a mud bog. Bow ties, mulchers, dirt bonez, etc. Those are track tires. I believe the gold AE spring is the medium, try that up front.
