RE: DURATRAX WARHEAD DELAY AGAIN
I contacted them in november, and they told me december the latest - so I dont know if I believe them. They sounded pretty firm too, who really knows what to believe. Its amazing that they got this thing soooo together and ready to launch but cant get it to production. I wonder if they are still testing, they were when I called. Maybe they cant get em made? Who knows......but I want one LOL...

No the issue is DuraTrax is one thing in this business and that is smart enough to hold things in to prevent problems later on. All of their cars, while none are the best at anything always seem to release flawlessly...sure it might have a few weak points, but nothing like the recent issues that happened with the Genesis or LST.

RE: DURATRAX WARHEAD DELAY AGAIN
I think I owe Thunder Tiger and AE an apology, I was very hard on them in the forums for delaying the MGT so many times. I guess it does make sense to do this. The warhead looks pretty cool, it is a flat chassis that can accept starter boxes, I didnt know that until I looked at the gallery at www.warheadmt.com. I was soooo hard on the MGT that I got banned by Steve Pond. Keep in mind that he runs that forum like a facist dictator, so, it wasnt hard to get banned really.

RE: DURATRAX WARHEAD DELAY AGAIN
It looks good. The market is already flooded with MT's, waiting an extra month or two is not as critical as releasing a GOOD product. They need to make a name for themselves, and drop a GREAT product on the market. It looks like an awesome truck. I hope its release is flawless. They have no reason to rush to the market really. The holiday season is missed, and many of this years newest trucks are not living up to the hype, or just not selling. I personally wouldnt mind having a yellow, or a white warhead.

I think terror hit the nail on the head. Problems are better off fixed before we get the truck as word of mouth spreads fast and bad news is nobody's buddy.

I hope they will send mine on time as they mention that they will ship mine on Jan 10,2005. I receive notice from them three days ago from mail, nor E-mail but by mail.

RE: DURATRAX WARHEAD DELAY AGAIN
www.warheadmt.com for all of your propaganda needs! I think this truck will have small issues like all trucks do. However, it is not made by Duratrax's usual supplier (Flying Point), as Flying Point's new truck is being distributed as the Spyder by Trinity (Flying Point TPS). I am not sure who actually is building the Warhead, but, it looks like higher quality than the Quake line or the Spyder.
