Anybody know of any good places to run out here in this neck of the woods of Cali?

Crystal park raceway in Compton. Revelation raceway in Ontario. Sun Valley raceway in Sun Valley. Peagusus(sp?) in Ontario. The Dirt in Hemit.
Is that enough to get you started.

Isn't "south bay area" considered to be just slightly north of Hemet or Ontario ????

The cities just south of Los Angeles is considered the South Bay Area. I know the Bay Area is in northen California(i.e. San Francisco). Maybe the Bay area also has a area they call the South Bay Area. FYI Revalation raceway is a nice facility with on and off road tracks, and is about 45 minutes from the South Bay Area(Southern Cali).

Garden Grove is in Orange County I believe. It is south of Los Angeles but also about 40 miles east. I don't know how we got the name South Bay because there isn't any bay but we are by the beach.

I was searching rccaraction.com's track directory for something close to me here in the East Bay and believe there's a couple places in the "South Bay" if I remember correctly.

I've spent plenty of time in both areas, and neither have chicks that are as hot as the ones in San Diego.

I should write something about cars in this post so it's not completely off topic.

RC cars are kuhl.

SD sure does have hot chicks but spend sometime in the OC and you'll see why they have TV shows about the dang place. i think the weather has alot to do with it... So Cal see's so many 70-80 degree days year round like right now that the chicks can wear things that shows off there figures... it's so dang cold in Nor Cal that the chicks look like eskimos

quick little story... my lady and i were walking on some beach out in frisco(don't know the name), seemed like any other beach but then we saw some fat hairy dude sitting on a towel in his b-day suit. we started laughing our asses off but then we kept seeing more naked people and even ran into a group of blondes playing beach volley ball butt ass nekked. by the time we got to the end we were the only ones with closes on. do you know what his beach is called? at the end where you can't walk anymore cause it gets really rocky... you can clearly see the golden gate bridge in the distance.

Naw the North coast beaches don't hold the same allure the south coast did.Too cold and windy most of the time.Only reason I go to the coast these days is to fly slope gliders at Pacifica.
