Default Duratrax maximum mt

Is this monster good or bad. Does it handle well can it take abuse. And how old is it. One more question where can i find some nice hop ups. Thanks everyone. I am really excitied about getting into mts!

It's a great truck and handles very well. It can jump very well also since it has very large shocks. I haven't broke anything besides spur gears and a bumper so its tough. The motor on it has decent power and is very reliable. As far as age, it's probably been arounf since 2001-2002 but I'm not sure. You can get some good looking aluminum parts for it off towerhobbies.com

Thanks for your replies. I might be getting a maximum mt off e-bay. I asked these questions to make sure i am getting a good mt. Ive always wanted a monster. Ill be putting my os 18 cv-rx into it thats gonna be awesome. And im gonna make it a bashing monster.

It's should be very fast with the .18 in it. It's already pretty fast stock(for a 1 speed) around 30-35 mph. I'd reccomend getting a plastic spur because the stock metal one is very heavy.

Anyone know where aluminum suspension arms for the maximum mt can be found also where can alum shock towers be found as well. Thanks in advance

I don't think you'll need the aluminum(I can't find any either) because the stock shock towers are very thick and the arms are tough too.
