    TNX shock upgrades

Hi, i want to upgrade my shocks for my TNX because basically the stock ones a rubbish!

What should i get, i dont want to spend more than about £100/$200,

I've looked a proline shock system, traxxas big bores etc.

I wouldn't be doing racing, its more for bashing and i want something that gonna be nice and durable.

    Any suggestions??

If you not going to race then the big bores by traxxas should be fine. I have the powerstrokes on mine and they work great for racing, dont know that Id recomend getting them for just bashing but would work ok to. it will come down to whats appealing to u. whats easier to get, maintani etc..

Yeah, I have the powerstrokes and they are awesome. However, the traxxas big bores are a very good shock like crusher03 said, should be what you want for bashing!

If you are just getting a set of shocks for bashing, I would recommend the Traxxas big bore shocks. I have a Tnx that I strictly bash with and the big bores work just fine. I cant see spending the extra money for the powerstrokes if you are just going to bash.

    RE: TNX shock upgrades

I'm thinking about picking up a TNX just so I don't have a Revo like all of my friends. Do the Traxxas Big Bore shocks need any mods in order to install them? Sorry about hijacking the thread a little!

    RE: TNX shock upgrades

i just installed mine on my TNX yesterday and they do need some mods... the hardward that comes with the shocks doesn't work well with the TNX... i used fuel tubing at the top of the shock and the stock screw and bolt... at the bottom i just used 8 random screws... they are a pretty common size and shouldn't be too hard to find rolling around in your toolbox....
