What was your very first Nitro truck u learned to drive on?
Is it me or does it seem like AE RC10GT was alot of peeps truck of choice? It was/ is very easy to maintain pretty fast especially if your not familiar with the power of a gas engine. And one of the most likely to be smacked into a tree or street curb truck at your local hobby shop since you didnt know what the heck you was doing out there? I love that lil truck and I use it as a trainer for my sons and nephews before they move into the larger scale.

yup, RC10GT here. Its not only a begginer truck or a race truck, its also pretty fun to drive. I've had mine for about 4 years now and it has had every part on it broken...except the throttle/brake linkage(which is the same from the 01 RTR GT...) Also, Ive had this before the "plus" came out and before they came stock with bearings...good old bushings!!!!!!

Traxxas Nitro Rustler 2.5... Yea a great truck for a noobs first nitro.. Still got the truck too, in pieces... Fast as hell but not the best truck to start out on just because the LHS wasnt selling it so he made me a good deal. Hit so many cats 
mailboxes, cars, poles, trees.. you name it, i prolly have a story of broken parts caused by that item. Damn noobs and their obsession with "how fast is it?" Made me learn quick that its better to have a well balanced car rather than the rustler i called the "Uncontrollable bullet" O well, at least it was tons of fun!

My first nitro offroad was a Sport NT. Very fun to drive, but I got tired of sliding around and it gettin hung up on the grass. Nonetheless it's cool for beatin around with. I wanted something more durable than an ST and got an 8th buggy and now a nitro monster truck. Love the 8th and MT more.

HPI RS4 Nitro 3. Excellent beginners nitro sedan. Takes a beating, and that .15fe lasted 10 gallons with a beginners tune...

HPI nitro rush, and hpi rs 4. I loved both of these vehicles, easy to tune, could take a severe beating, hitting walls poles etc. I would run the rush full throttle doing hot laps at the local basketball court tank after tank of fuel. Hmm the Genesis is your first huh? Well tell me how much damage youve done wit that bad boy, I havent driven one of those but I could wonder how rough it might have been just during the break in alone.

It wasnt nitro, tyco made an rc called the eleminator back in the 80s, was my first rc, first nitro was my terra crusher around 5 years ago.

my first nitro was a traxxas nitro sport. I actually still have it in pieces in the barn, no engine, no wheels, basically just a rolling chassis. Its like brand new to because I killed the motor so fast.
