Ok, so the LHS finally gets my spur gear for my MT2, and I install everything this afternoon and then go out to test it. I finally get the motor to start (hadn't been started in a month) and when I do, it strips the holy hell outta my NEW spur gear. I did the paper thing inbetween the gears, and when I rolled the truck w/out the motor running it was smooth....so WHAT THE HELL WENT WRONG??? I AM SOOO FRIGGIN MAD RIGHT NOW, ESPECIALLY SINCE IT TOOK ME 2 HOURS TO ASSEMBLE THE POS!! AHHHHH

i need to know the following,

1. does you truck have a slipper type mechanism
1a. if so how tight did you tighten it down

2. did the stripping happen to the teeth or the inner circle?

3. it may be possible that something in your driveline is worped.

4. what was happening when you stripped, stuck in something?

I figured it out. SOmething is causing my truck to revvvvvv really high. and that stripped it.
