Default ofna monster pirate diffs

I have a question guys. I am helping a friend rebuild a used monster pirate and the gears in the rear diff were stripped. It was packed with black grease. It is the older planetary type. We orded all the new gears and my questions are do I refill them with black grease or can I use a heavy type of silcone fluid for them thanks
