Default SUPER CHARGERS!!!!!

Hi, i was wondering, would a super charger make my Losi LST with an LRP Z.28R any faster, is it a dramatic power increase and performance booster, is it worth the money.
thanks

The most simple answer in the world would be no....but I will explain why to the extent of my knowledge.

A supercharger is made to force air into the combustion chamber and cause a bigger bang, which in turn gives you more power. The problem lies in the sleeve-the ports are made so that the exhaust and intake ports are open at the same time. So all it does it just pushes the exhaust out faster. you may get a slight increase, but it would not be noticable, or worth 200 bucks.

putting a super charger on a nitro engine is like trying to get more power out of your bicycle.

'nuff said.

all the forced air does is enter the intake ports, and float out the exaust port before combustion

If your willing to pay $200 and get a increase of maybe at most 200 rpms and .025 hp, then go ahead.

Those are a gimick just like the "NOS" kits.

If you want more speed and power, buy a better engine.
