I have an LST and I love the off-roading ability but I was looking at maybe getting something that is extremely fast but with the ability to go off-road. I love the size and power of the LST, I was just thinking that I have an MT so know I want a fast race truck with off-road capability. Nobody around my area has any schumacher's so I was trying to get some feedback on them.

I had a Menace and yes they are very quick but also very fragile as they are basically a road car with longer travel shocks and off-road wheels. They use a belt drive system and ball differentials which hate dirt so you'll be stripping it apart all the time as the transmission is not sealed very well. Personally I grew to hate mine!

ok the menace drice belt is 10mm thick! the only real gap is somewhere behind the engine which you can seal easily
the menace is quick and only fragile if you can't drive
www.nifken.com has some menace JUMPING videos which sows the strength of the menace when landed even half decent
join www.glypo.co.uk its a great forum (im a mod on it )
forget the jato people and get a real st

Yea I've heard they're real fast but I don't know anybody with one to run it. Most of the trucks that I looked at before I got mine, I got to run so I could find out which I liked the best. I was thinking of hopping up my LST but I was also thinking of taking that money and just buying me a real fast little truck, so that way I'd be covered for off-road with my LST and on-road with the Menace. The thing I also like about the Menace is that it still has the ability to go off-road but it still runs 70mph on-road. I wouldn't be bashing it like I do my LST though, so I don't expect it to be as durable. I would buy it more for the speed. Anybody know where I can get a real good deal on one?

Does it have a lot of torque too? I know that they'll run 70mph but does it get there pretty quick? Anything will break when it hits something going 70mph. Like I said, I have me a nice off-roading truck and my next truck we'll be an on-road & off-road truck that's extremely fast. Right now my favorite is the Schumacher. Have you had any problems with it?
